ข้อพระธรรมScripture:๑ซมอ. ๔:๑๒-๒๒ 1Sam 4:12-22

โครงเรื่อง: ลักษณะ ๖ ประการของกลียุค:
Disasters in 6 different ways:

1)คนอิสราเอลพ่ายแพ้และหนีหาย (๑๗)
Israel has fled before the Philistines. (17)

2)ประชาชนล้มตายเป็นจำนวนมาก (๑๗)
There has also been a great slaughter among the troops. (17)

3)โฮฟนีและฟิเนหัสก็ตายในสนามรบด้วย (๑๗)
Hophni and Phinehas are dead. (17)

4)หีบพันธสัญญาของพระเจ้าก็ถูกศัตรูยึดไปด้วย (๑๗)
The enemies has captured the ark of God. (17)

5)เอลีมหาปุโรหิตคอหักตายในวันเดียวกัน (๑๘)
Eli fell over backward, broke his neck and died. (18)

6)พระสิริของพระเจ้าพรากไปจากอิสราเอลเสียแล้ว (๒๑-๒๒)
The glory of God has departed from Israel. (21-22)
